Yes I realize that. Swimmer. I spent the past 3 years fishing off the rocks by Fort Adams in the middle of the night on the outgoing tides. Did ok, but was difficult fishing with 3 kids. After my 14 yo daughter slipped and busted her butt on the rock, the wife didn't want me taking the kids out there, especially at night. Last year we rented a boat from the navy base 3 or 4 times and the kids loved it, so even if it is cheating just a bit, to use a boat, I can spend more quality time fishing with my kids. Prior to this it's been all salmon fishing for me in Washington state, then shortly after arriving here I went out there off Fort Adams, and after 2 hours or so of chunking poggies, I landed my first Striper (14 pounds or so) and have been hooked ever since. I hope to see some of you out there on the water this year. I'm still learning my way around the fish here, so thanks for all the advise guys.
Cool Beans,

You know, Frank, I've tried to tell myself that every time I bring one over the rail...............But the ones that hit the deck or the fishbox do!

It's better to break down and buy a boat, than to buy a boat and then break down.
Like the old saying goes: "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy!"
