LOL! Thanks Bob!
I just about split a gut when he reeled that thing in.
Good God. I fished all flippin night without getting anything above a 20 incher.
Down the boardwalk he comes and with one cast gets this fish.
No cooler in the car, no clue.
Leaves after that.
He had no clue what to do with it.
Am I allowed to say "Luck of a googan?"

One time when I was a kid, we were fishing hHull Gut with my father and his friend. A guy pulls up in his car, I think it was an Alfa Spider or an MG, but anyway he has the top down, and look like he just jumped out of the Orvis catalogue. He gets his rod, snaps on a swimming plug, casts it for all he is worth, and then sits the rod in a sand spike while he smokes his pipe. Everyone basically laughed at the guy. After a little while his rod doubles over, and he fights and land the biggest striper I had ever seen. The thing was so big, that it's tail was hanging out of the convertible from the side.
I have also seen people fiishing live eels off the beach on a fishfinder like you would chunk bait, and guess what, fish on. I think the boss man was there for that one.

LOL! I hate that!
I knew this guy who would come down to the beach no matter what time, tide or moon and throw out bait. ONCE! Just once.
Catch a huge fish, let it go and leave. EVERYTIME he was there.!!!!
I will never know how he did it. He just always did.
He just laughed at us sitting there with our rods in the water waiting.
He let got bigger fish than I have ever seen before with one cast on bait!
He had the MOJO!
That's all there is to that.
He is gone now.

The truck, oh you had to go there
I took it apart, put all new parts on. then they gave me one wrong head
so back apart it came. next it went back together then it needed a new distributor so I replaced that still won't start, I finally got it running after two months but not right, I need to take some more of it apart again and ajust the lifters, then it needs front breaks and a new exhaust, I think when I finally get it running ok I will skip the breaks and exhaust and trade it in for a model in the 2004 year class
