What an awesome day!
Thanks to everyone who put this thing together. I know you guys worked you asses off for us. It was very cool.
Thanks Chum for driving. You guys may not know it, but Chum is a "professional driver" and he just loves cruisin'. I love riding along listening to NIB snore Seriously, hangin with NIB and Chumbucket is like having the Golden Ticket to meet the best striper fishermen on the coast. Thanks for all the introductions.
Congratulations to the winners of the plug building contest. All that stuff was off the hook! I see that I'm really going to have to sharpen up my skills if I hope to win one of those certificates next year.
I wasn't in the room 5 minutes when I met Numbskull and he gave me an excellent Musso style darter. Thanks Numby (or do you prefer Mr Skull?) I know just the rip for that plug.
The displays were just incredible. The plugs on the tables and in the boxes represented the best of history and the best of what's to come for our obsession.
I missed most of the food, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to hang outside in the cold shooting the bull with Capesams I did get in on some of that shepards pie casserole made by John R's wife. That stuff was yummy

All in all, I had a great time. Saw a bunch of old friends and made a bunch of new ones. Who could ask for more?

Maybe if I hang with NIB long enough, he'll invite me up to fish with a few of you guys when the bass come

Digger

The best time ever!

Plugfest was the best time ever! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put on this great event. It was great meeting the folks that make such great stuff and share so much information. I hope I can make this event every year to come.

Thanks for taking me fishing Grandpa!

Great job by all. Mike, Barb and Felicia Thomas, Slip, JR, and everyone else who put this together.

Thanks to Goo Goo Man for the plug and tips. Same to Wahlie. Larry it was nice chatting. Raven hope ya got your car squared away.

Felt crappy Friday and ended up leaving very early Saturday. By the time I got home I was running a temp of 102 degrees with all the aches to go with it.

Nice to see Eddie, and chat with numby for a few. Sorry I missed the demos, but glad I left when I did.

Hope to see you guys again in the future and thanks again.

Ditto chumbucket.

Every now and again I run into a fishing visitor on a MV beach and notice some amazing plug on the end of the fellows line, I ask him who made it and he says "chumbucket"...I always respond the same...some day I am going to get me a chumbucket plug...someday. We probably passed with a few feet of each other. I was easy to pick out....I was with Mrs. Sandman one of the only few females roaming around. I was looking to say hi to a few other guys but I could not track them down in the mob, it was busy.
next time...

Bigfish... I did say HI and you said hi back...but you were involved with 3 other guys and had your hands full...next time.
