The lady selling ceramics is making 20% and the tackle shop guys are making around 33%. But that smiling guy selling bags of fudge and chocolates, he's making a conservative 500% margin - he's at all the shows.

i would just like to state

HOW MUCH we, as consumers, APPRECIATE those
vendors willing to bite the bullet and take a momentary HIT
to their bottom line for the sake of promoting OUR SPORT!!

i hear you, Pete and Mike, and I AM SURE that the tasks and undertakings
to pull off an EXCELENT SHOW ~which you guys in ALLways do~ are well beyond daunting
and border MADNESS more often than not; however, it is your DEDICATION to OUR SPORT,

and the exsposure that these SHOWS brings, and your willingness to listen to my ineptitude
that keeps newbies, us hungries, and YES even those sharpies coming back to the BIG THREE.

i completely respect the vendors who've decided in these economic straits to forego the losing propositions and PITA factor that are inherent to "Expo" participation,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yet, your presences will be sorely missed this year and the venues will NOT be the same without YOU there.

doan get me wrong, you've gotta do what you've gotta do to remain fiscally responsible and
i mean no slight to your decisions to bow out this year,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i am simply HOPEFUL that
this will not become a long term position and am sincerely tipping my hat to your past participations
and ALL that youse guys bring to the EXPO experience.

THANK YOU for ALL that YOU DO!!!

"The first condition of happiness is that the connection
between man and nature shall not be broken."~~ Leo Tolstoy

Tight Lines, and
Happy Hunting to ALL!

There is a show without......

Having spoken to both Mike and Pete about the MSBA show
I understand their position but regret their absence. There
is a show without Beef Jerky, Chocolate candy, ceramics,
insurance, and it has been around for 25 years. The MSBA
Fishing Expo is fishing, fishing and only fishing. We attract
some of the top rods from the region. No one -- repeat--
no one has ever said we did not have an atmosphere that
is comfortable and friendly -- a great place to meet vendors
and learn. We always try (Gillette stadium being the exception)
to have great food at great prices to allow a morning and
afternoon visit to happen without breaking the bank.
At $10 with free parking what a great day. See ya on
March 7 & 8 at Stonehill College.

Again Mike and Pete are among the best tackle vendors
around and we hope they will visit the show.

Any additional comments post them here.
