Also, be VERY careful if you have any pets or children around that might mistake it for being edible. If ingested it is not a pretty site when it reacts with internal body fluids. I saw some pictures a few weeks back of a dog that ate some.

I laminated maple to ayc last year when I did my off center stuff. I let it dry overnight. Just be sure to set the clamped pieces on some scrap material up off of the surface of your table. When the glue foams up and runs out of the joints if its sitting flush to the work table it will be glued to the table too.
