You might be a googan if....you spend hundred and hundreds on the biggest surfcasting gear you can find - 12foot Daiwa, 9500SS Penn so that you can outcast everyone and be the he-man fisher. Only to find out that A) You Suck & B) Anyone with a balanced 9' rod will out cast you and will out fish you. (Yes, I was once the googan with the 12' Daiwa - though I still suck I look much better doing it ).

You might be a googan if you drag a plugbag the size of a suitcase around Cuttyhunk and wear yourself out because you have to have the right lure and don't know which one that will be.
