Dinner on Point Jude
I have always been a fan of the Point Judes, not only in the salt but in the fresh aswell. I have caught some nice fish on them in alot of freshwater ponds and at the Chu, but yesterday was just amazing. The fish have been so far out that distance was necesary and the sea scallop fit the bait just perfect. Yesterday alone I caught 9 salmon and about 15 rainbows on it, and the day before I had 4 salmon and about 25 trout....Some of the small bows couldn't even get the lure in there mouths and would come in hooked by the eye or side, but they still hammered it. I don't eat fish but my girl does and I brought her home sum and she loved it....flesh was reder then the store bought.......My girl says Thanks Joe
wish I could have gotten some action shots and video, but like an idiot I left my camare card at home.......here's some after shots

I have never had a brand new sea scallop look like this after a day in freshwater....It looked like I had used it to fish for harbor blues...lol
Prepared it for her with a little salt & pep, olive oil, fresh lemon slices, juice, and zest, fresh orange juice and zest and a little minced garlic and fresh dill along side some grilled zuccini....to bad I hadn't done anything wrong this would have gotten me out of hot water for sure.

The salt water version of the Sea Scallop has been my favorite tin since Uncle Joe first re-introduced Pt Jude -
First time I used it I pulled a fat little 12# bass right out of the middle of a school of blitzing blues and after that that was all I needed to know - the guys around me wanted to know what the hell I was using...
This year I've got some loooong out of production Pt Jude freshwater stuff Uncle Joe gave me I'm gonna use on trout - I'll post a picture of 'em when I pick up my digital camera - you guys'll poop when you see them -
Plus, price 'em out against Hopkins and Kastmasters sometime - Pt Judes are the best value on the market for tins, too -

Atta boy Roy! I remember you getting the Lake Trout on the Butterfish last year. Glad you could use one of my lures to make a meal. You know if the economy keeps going like it has been there just might be sumthin to that!
