haaaa, Ecdu ...if you look closely you'll see that I drew some inspiration from you and Bigfish, I looked at your tutorial very closely and tried something similar on the herring, not nearly as good as your results but it was a fun process....

just a quick note...I was out of eyes so I made all of them using flex coat and micro pearl powders and some gold leaf flake in the eyes of the needles that I found in my kids craft stuff...that was fun to do but it takes a while for the flex coat to cure...good to have for a back up in a pinch ......

the pupils are just black paint but I bet if I rumaged around Michaels long enough I could find some small black things to use that would be better, then they'd be the same size without a lot of effort actually, now that I think about it I should have found some shiny black plastic and made pupils with my 3 hole punch

belly hanger- just bend a wire in a figure "8" to fit and twist it in the middle to run north /south for the through wire...fill with QuickWood from Home Depot or whatever you use for filler....
