Any tricks for keeping the groundhogs away from the plants?

I tried a garden when we 1st moved up here and they decimated it within 2 weeks...little bastards.

a .22 will keep them groundhogs away

That's part of the fun with gardening...harvesting backyard critters. You plant a seed and get some meat on the side! I have a high powered GAMO air rifle that will easily harvest a groundhog. They are delicious
