Better check again, the possession of cod in federal waters north of Cape cod is prohibited between November 30 and March 31st. Maybe what you cited is MA regs?

Yes they are MA regs...so offshore is a no-no, good to know. The 21' CC doesn't usually make it off shore between 11/30 & 3/31.

much more feel at 300 or 400 ft of water. especiallt when fishing bait for haddock.
mad...i was fishing w/ 30 lb braid.. everyone on the boat had braid .....i still needed a 21oz to 26 oz jig to hit the bottom ,the current was ripping and with the 10 to 20 mph winds pushing the boat. i had 10 to 30 sec bumping the bottom. also i was tossing the jig 50 ft up tide ..its not my first time cod fishing

I drove by Buckman's house at about 515pm. There were like 6 pickup trucks in the driveway.
Must have been a meeting of the John Birch Society or something.
One of the damn things was sticking out into the street. traffic was backed up either way because only one lane could get by at a time
