I'm an idiot..
waited all winter long for this time of year and now i've got myself in a cast and probably won't be fishing for at least a month. 2 dislocated knuckles and a fractured wrist. don't be an idiot like me and do something stupid like punching something when in a fit of rage. think before you make a stupid decision like I did. I know most of you are older and wiser than me, but just thought i'd remind everyone to take a deep breath before they go and do something stupid like i did. going insane now with the nice weather and good fishing fast approaching. i'm so pissed at myself right now.

thanks for the warning
you must find a way to channel your rage in the future Bart.
But for now you have to concentrate on healing so look to
enhancing your ability to heal by getting proper sleep, eating right
and don't start drinking heavy because that just slows the healing process.
Feel Better Soon....

One morning i stabbed myself in the hand because i was
using the wrong tool for the project.
I was so ticked at myself for the stupidity but never forget the ER Doc saying, "don't beat yourself up over it, doesn't do any good, stuff happens."
Just learn from it and let it go.

I'll never forget
the day i decided to change my own tire
taking it off the rim by hand with flat bars
didn't take to long before the tire bead
flipped that bar and knocked me unconscious
i awoke looking at the sky and puffy white clouds
trying to figure out what the hell i was doing there

Wow, that's really pathetic sorry
Every time I've punched the wall I've always cut back because I thought I might break something...even when a little lit.
And my wife always wondered why I marked the studs with a marker after we painted

A little trick I learned several years ago. First take a quick breath when that rage is washing over you, and then ask yourself is what I am about to do going to benefit me five minutes from now.
Other tha that I hope you heal quickly, we've all done it.

When you're older you'll find that you will get to the point where you don't care enough about anything to do something like that.

#1 thing to do, is when the wife is making you crazy, GO FISHING!. and for 3-4 days every month I'd suggest a camping trip. I've punched through too many walls myself over almost 18 years with my wife, but after you break your hand and a few times, have to pay for the repairs enough times, you will eventually figure out better ways to deal with things.

Just get an electric reel and a short rod.Sucks !I have an inner video that runs in my head all the time.I can see myself punching holes in walls and doors and smashing things when I'm angry. After watching the short film I laugh to myself of course and the rage is over.Hospital bills and broken bones aren't cool.Hope you heal quick and get back out.
