If I am approaching a fisherman and I am in a good mood I will usually offer the "Any luck?" greeting. Often times I am known to be moody so I generally will be quiet...especially after dark!  |

I usually go with "Morning" or "Evening". I usually do not try to engage someone who's actively fishing. I'll wait until he's done or relocating to another spot. I don't like to be disturbed when I'm fishing, and I figure it's the same with others. Once I'm out of the water, I'll BS with anyone  . |
