I grew up on Waquoit Bay, there is only about a 2-3 foot tide there. With a 17 Whaler you will have no problem near the camp grounds. if It's low tide put the boat ride up on the beach and throw the anchor on shore. If it's high tide just anchor a little ways out and walk in. Much different tides that Marshfield.

thank you for the info. Yea we have about 9.5 foot tide here and the water is a little cold for swimming in from the boat. Seems like this trip is getting easier and easier with all the information everyone is providing me. thanks much,
