I picked up a few spools of Madeira metallic thread at the rodcrafter seminar last January. I haven't used it yet but plan to try it in the next week or two. What you need to know before you buy this is that it is sized differently than what we are used to seeing. I have some in size #40 and size #30. To my eye, the # 30 seems to be similar diameter to size A HT metallic, and the size # 40 is considerably finer. I'll let you know how it turns out.
