I bought a pair last Memorial Day. I loved em until Labor Day. They started weeping after 45 minutes of being in the water. By early October the leak was unbearable.

I couldn't find the leak until I put a flashlight inside the leg. The surface of the waders looked like they were studded with diamonds where the little pinpoints of light were shining through.

I called Hodgeman. No questions, just return them. A new pair was sent to my house.

Hodgeman told me that their supplier forgot to put an anti-fungal agent in the lining. As a result, a fungus ate through the lining and created the microporosity.

Make sure that your waders are of a recent production lot.

The new ones worked fine when I hung them up for the sason last Thanksgiving.
