Yep. Johnny Pollock aka eelskimmer was the life of the trip! I hope you come again, John. Can't believe this was your first trip. The year working out in the gym was worth it! (You are the first one to arrive at the ferry with a handicap tag hanging from the mirror however...)

Attaboy, Eelskimmer - old guys rule...

Like I always tell 'em, don't let the white hair fool ya...

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

Thanks to all

I had a blast! Not only meeting all youse guys
but being able to do up some eggs and bacon for
all. Great pixs and beautiful scenery. That beach
doesn't reveal the dangers lying below the surface.
Been busy this week including a mess of Boston
harbor flounder on Wednesday so here is my
grateful thanks to all for helping me fish that
island. Everyone reading this should plan to do
the next trip. I'm off to Vermont tomorrow
morning to deal with the puckerbush I missed
while on Cutty.
See ya on the beach.

John-
You are an inspiration to us all. I am looking forward to my August trip to Cutty. All you guys looked like you had a great time. Thank goodness nobody knows where you went and that you caught any fish.

Nice it is a small island with limited access and accomodations. I sure hope I am available next time you do this trip as Cuittyhunk has already become my favorite place after only 1 trip.

Bill

Woozy I did not. I could only take two piece rods to fit in the wife's car. Can't believe you remember your password.
