A little help here. Is the outer cape fishable in a big NE blow? How long does it stay that way?

Yesterday, forecast showed 20+knot winds, gusts to 40knots for the next 3 days - with up to 8' swells.
But, the forecast also said pouring rain all night starting at 10pm and winds up to 20. And I was bone dry with barely a breath of wind last night. |
