I managed to skank a few with one of these old Bassmaster fast sinking Blurple needles. That spaceboy sure made some good needles.
Notice my fish were smaller,........oh well.

Nah, that's my whuppin' stick/wading staff. If you had to bend over to unhook fish alone in the dark with Flap or Sauerkraut you'd carry one, too

The fish was almost as tall as the angler.

Not mine, Bart, they are the designs of Musso and Pichney.....two very talented men. The eye opener for me this year is how effective darters are in gentler, shallow water. Much to learn yet.

C'mon fess up, thats a piece of AYC being pre soaked in brine before it goes on the lathe...I know your darter secret now, as does the entire internet community...

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Darters are extremely versatile... I have done well with them in no current at all on a fairly calm night,,,, Definitely a go to plug,,,,

I also make a spook that can be fished sub-surface that is weighted to dart like a darter and it produces well in various conditions as well,,,,,,,,,,

Thumbs up

Nice going George, glad to see them work so well.
I have the same color, I just need to put it in front of some water that has fish.
