I read people getting trapped after digging holes is common.
I've always wondered what they do after they dig the hole - leave it for someone to fall in at night and get hurt?

Which is reckless (and isn't it illegal). I find myself filling in holes at the beach that parents let their kids leave behind. Even a slight hole could injure someone not paying well enough attention.

It really sucks to hit one of those beach craters when you're driving the beach.

I stepped into one of those Heffalump traps a few weeks ago. It was about 2 feet deep. I wasn't hurt, but it sure surprised me. I'll keep my light on when walking the sand at night from now on.

Things done at the last possible minute are done with the greatest possible information. Procrastination is, therefore, the most efficient means of doing things.
