westport sucked yesterday too. dirty brown water. It's the moon phase at the moment. lots of small bait down though.

Barter Town no good ... some getting an occaisional small keeper (28") bayside,, fishing snot .. not interrested in that though .. For me,, historicly the real fun begins 2nd or 3rd week Sept. thru the 3rd week Oct.. last 2 yrs. have been disapointing .. Should be able to sight fish soon... cast to breaking fish top water.. Thats the best striper fishing imho..

Yeah it has sucked out there. I think I am done for the year. It sucks getting up early to drop in and then not know if you will get any bait, and waste craploads of fuel looking for bait.  |
