reports, pics?

this board has been pretty dead lately. let's have some pics or a report. someone must be catching. i'll get it started. snuck out fri after lunch w/ some worms planning in doing some trolling and see if any flounder were around. ended up jigging up a bunch of tiny pollock -the smallest i've ever seen, a little bigger then my finger. drifted them through some rips and and got 2 fish around 20# and a nice fluke. all released. threw a bucktail and teaser on the flats and picked away at some schoolies for a while and called it a day. has anyone had any luck w/ cunners as live bait?

Chased albies all day in my tin boat. Used almost all 6 gallons of fuel and had several really good chances but no love. It was fun, frustrating , exhilarating and crowded, just what I figured on a weekend. The boats were so thick it felt like comm. bass fishing. I'll stick to weekdays. Beautiful day out there though and to just see them work is a blast.

Hit around east and north of Graves Light and had baitfish everywhere and whales but no action except for dogfish. Nice out there after an early morning breeze. Moved several times and couldn't get away from dogs except inside.
Brother took a shot from a dogfish spine in the forearm was the only bad thing.

Biggest Blue Shark I've ever seen in person to the boat Saturday. Ripped drag on a 130, thought we were in business, but this was it.

Pretty fun though- just a beast.

Some, but haven't put much time in yet - still doing lots of bass trips. Got 10 tuna trips on the books this month, so between that and looking for bigs on my own, we'll get rolling.

Did get into the Albies on Wed - good time.

Went up to the harbor monday, yesterday, to get bait and got zero pogies.....zero at wolly.....made about 12 sets and quit trying. The seiner must have done a good job. Last week wasn't too bad...............

Looks like its gonna blow wed, thr..............

Yes to the cunners, Niko. I've used them a half a dozen times when I catch them by accident fishing for Scup. I haven't caught any really big fish on them, but several middle teens to low twenties fish. Down in SoCo waters, I've found more cunners in bass bellies than any other fish.
