There should also be an albie with a 4oz green deadly #^^^^& in its mouth which I know was definitely a bad knot tie! First time I think I can trace a fish loss to one of my knots vs. a broken line.

Case,where,when,and at what tide stage were you fishing?Be exact and precise.It may help you get back your line.

Happened to me 2 years ago. Had to make a 2 hour round trip to get another line. Good thing the albies stuck around that day  . Ended up with 3 more.

You guys inspired me to sped Tuesday afternoon changing the backing on 5 fly spools...better to be save then sorry....they were only 5 years old!!!!
Now I gotta put them to the test.
