JoeBass Registered User Join Date: Apr 2007 Posts: 492	no more striper fishing (I would if I was closer), but last Sunday had the best trout day of the year, here in Vermont. Took my son for his 17th birthday. We had been skunked the 3 previous trips. Second cast he hooks the biggest rainbow trout I've ever seen....Broke off at his feet. Guessing 26-28 inches. But all was not lost....landed a dozen more trout over the next 2 hours. None as big, but all were nice.
