The Phillies have a salary $11M less than Boston and $34M less than the Mets.
I hear you though. Baseball really needs a salary cap... but it'll never happen.

Josiah, sorry to hear. I know you were looking forward to the father/son bonding on the Island.
I'm gonna Ditch it one more time tomorrow morning. Then sit up tomorrow night for the wee ones. Got to rest Sunday as I am working 4, 16 hour days in Boston at the Convention center next week.

Going to do some fw fishing with Rappin Mikey and Messy Matty, and maybe Paliaso Sunday. Probably Jake and Earl's tonight for the local Waltham bands, then to see Timezone in Leomenster tomorrow.

Tonight nothing
Saturday I will be under the hood of my wifes car trying to find why it broke down in the middle of a rain storm the other night, and had to get towed home, then get my gear ready for Block Island and clean my truck.
Sunday I hope nothing but I am sure there is something to do

Fish the surf at first light, then see if the wind is really going to be gusting to 50 mph. If not, might get out on the boat for a last fishing trip. Am considering hauling it on Sunday. (Don't want to have it out in the street for Halloween...) Blow some leaves, weedwhack the garden beds, shop for a snowblower, and avoid Salem at all costs. Tonight and tomorrow are going to be crazy over there....
Also have a wake for a 54 year old friend on Sunday.... RIP Charlie. I'll miss you.

Been on VACATION so here it goes 5 weeks ago the boat broke out @ sea Got towed in . I found the problem ( STARTER) well things led to things, Starter, risers , manifolds, 3" spacers fuses , circut berakers.
I did all the work myself with limited space and all boat owners know there is limited space .
I hope thoes who know what it takes to do the work without pulling the engine well 4 good news all worked out GREAT
YOU will be seeing my boat for sale next year all electronics and saftey stuff all you will need is some rods
it will be good for 3 yrs them it's up to the owner and how they take care of her .
