i happen to know Dave, he is not an egomaniac,that fish will not go in the dumpster.i am almost positive that he has the license. i told him how to get it for his kayak.he wouldn't be trying to set a record by taking fish illegally.

I permit is needed. There is no legal fishing for bluefin except from a permitted vessel. Regardless, this is an amazing accomplishment...I just hope he was legal.
