Not so much of a fan but can't help but admire the greatest team in pro sports !
Can't argue with the results !

* 26 wins: MLB - New York Yankees (39 total appearances)
* 24 wins: NHL - Montreal Canadiens (33 total appearances)
* 16 wins: NBA - Boston Celtics (19 total appearances)

Actually I Prefer to look at the list like this

Boston Celtics - 17 Championships out of 63 Total or 26.9% of all the Championships

Montreal Canadiens - 22 Stanley Cups (Modern Day NHL) out of 83 Total or 26.5% of all the Cups

New York Yank-mees - 27 World Series out of 105 Total or 25.7% of all the the World Series

Which puts them in 3rd all time......

.....Or you can look at it like this too

Boston Celtics won 17 of 20 for 85% of the Championships they appeared in

The Canadiens won 22 of 29 for 75.8% of the Cup Finals they appeared in (Modern Day NHL)

Yank-mees won 27 of 40 for 67.5% of the World Series they appeared in

So....Again....3rd Place
