My brother in law recently checked out at the age of 80. He was cremated and his wife now has the ashes. I asked her what she was planning and her answer really caught me off guard, Her plan is to be cremated also and have her ashes mixed with her husbands, then scattered at their favorite place.

Plus I already told my wife to burn me in my boat and she agree's She liked the boat idea a lot ...LOL

..

toss all the plugs & you in the boat, toss in a match, push you out with the tide....viking funeral..

you only go to collect the funeral cards, and try to find out wherre the plugs are going

no party here..that's the other thing they know... no service, no nothing..just "dust" in the wind...

Actually, seriously...I want a keg at my wake, right at the head of the casket. After you pay respects to the familiy and do the kneel down by me....I want to buy everybody one last drink on me.

I have turned 4 people into glass paperweights

when I go, I'd like a few of my ashes thrown into the furnace at Venini's studio in murano Italy and the rest sprinkled over the home fries at phil's dinner...

now THATS a good wife..... took his ashes back up to Maine where he was born.

Just South of Cold Storage Beach in North Truro, my Family beach for the past 5 generations counting my children.
In the dead of a moonless July night.
We spread my Mother's ashes there October before last so she could always swim in the "big waves".

My wake as well, but I want no one to kneel. Just have a few drinks, a few laughs and remember that I tried.

My brother's were scattered way too soon around home plate at Fenway. I would like mine tossed into the West Branch of the Farmington River.

What I really want is to have all my friends and family show up at the seashore to pay respects . Then I'd like to be shot out of a circus cannon ,,high in the air towards the open ocean wearing a clown suit and a cape .. Leave em laughing . There's probably a law against this ,so I will probably be burnt and dumped "Local" .. I'll hook you up large Larry if I can ..

They have a crematorium at the last corner before I turn to go to my house. A lot of times, coming home late at night from fishing, they would have it fired up. Crematoriums spew a considerable amount of smoke - but I suppose that has something to do with the fat content of the corpse.
