The is no need to "lock in prices" for the season with most oil companies, that is an option. I've had auto-delivery from several companies for the last 25 years and just pay the going rate at time of delivery even with automatic delivery. Right now I'm with Mass Energy ( Mass Energy Consumers Alliance ), I'd recommend as they are kind of like a coop and have the most reasonable prices. There is a annual, minimal subscriber rate.
