I was joking, sort of, but if you can make lip dies (or have a laser/water jet)......well I'm not greedy, I'd be happy with just blanks. As for a press, beats me but I'd track down whatever I needed.

It is not fair, however, to sidetrack your thread or pressure you for my advantage. Welcome to the site, your stuff is neat, and if you get more involved and want to talk making lips give a shout.

Thinly veiled begging at its best....

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Form tools are too easy. They will chatter alot of you're not careful.
Nothing like single point tooling if you want to enjoy it.

The squid plug looks good but is the hook on the wrong end?

i took some casts at a local h.s. football field. using a eyeless 10' daiwa pole with a abu garcia ambassador bg 7000 hsn reel with 20lb mono. was ble to get 100yds. had several canal fisherman makes some casts at the canal and they surpassed my casts. flies like a missle, no wobble. it does sink, but i try to stop the filght just before the water. on the surface it swims well.
