this is a really cool invention back in 29. Probably dangerous as all hell if you fell off but pretty inventive for the day. Worth a look if you are into mechanical things.

did you see it pull 20 tons of logs towards the end of video? pretty darn powerful but man if you fell off the side it would make mince meat of you. I can't imagine it would have any trouble with a steep grade.

So Paul when you going to build one? That is what i cal American ingenuity!!! I wonder why the concept did not take off as it seems better than a snow cat.

I can see paul now going down the boat ramp heading into barnstable harbor an taking a short cut over sandy neck , back in at low tide straight over the flats /water? we don't need no stinking water/ an back up the ramp after a day of fishing..it'd need a combo sticker.
