duh, whatever - here is a clip from my initial post
"who cares, human beings have survived terrible living situations for tens of thoushands of years. I've never heard of anyone getting sick becuase there was some piss on a door handle." so, I've gone away from that????? I've now been enlightened that scratching your sack spreads disease? yeah, thats a big problem.....
And Gattafish, my reponses are based on the initial post, maybe Im nuts but i assumed ez is in the united states, and yes I do things differently than if I was in a 3rd world country, I also do things differently when at a some highly used pota potty, but the INITIAL THREAD was about a work environment.
its funny all the strong opinons, lets see the data?
I GUARANTY more people get sick from handling common everyday items than from a restroom sink or door handle. PROVE ME WRONG.

It was just my opinion that having the sink on the outside of the restrooms would work better. I think the people who are most bothered by this idea are the ones who will not wash their hands now because they don't want to touch the faucet that everyone touched otherwise what's the big deal.

I read the initial thread,,, and the posts, Especially YOURS, which I have quoted and PROVEN to be foolish nonsense ......,,,, I have noticed that as you have met opposition you have slowly manipulated your answers to try to prove a ridiculous and unfounded point that you and only YOU seem to think is true,,,,,
Never the less still not getting the fact that everyday common items carry disease because PEOPLE DON'T WASH THEIR HANDS...
  Isn't cabin fever grand

you have to be f'in kidding me? How the hell have I tweaked my response and how have YOU PROVEN me worng???
We are not talking about disease spread via people and objects, we are talking about disease spread FROM THE BATHROOM, no???
I'll say it clearly as possible - random contact with piss or crap via a restroom will not cause you any health issues 99% of the time.
So you want PROOF, versus your nonsense replies - here goes:
random web research -
There are many simple things that protect you from airborne and surface bacteria, the most powerful being your own immune system. People in decent to excellent health can afford to be reckless more often than the very young or the elderly.
While it is obviously unsanitary to not wash your hands after touching dirty surfaces, more often than not, you will come away unscathed. Your body is tough enough
(WHOA ! wasnt I saying this?????)
from web md -
"To my knowledge, no one has ever acquired an STD on the toilet seat -- unless they were having sex on the toilet seat!" says Abigail Salyers, PhD, president of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM).
Common cold germs, like most viruses, die rapidly, and thus may be less of a threat than you think. "Even if you come into contact with particular viruses or bacteria, you'd have to contract them in amounts large enough to make you sick," says Judy Daly, PhD, professor of pathology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
so.....Im way off? You proved me wrong? So, you live your life worrying that some guy with Hep C may crap on his hands and then make some tuna salad for you? That chance is SO SMALL its insane. How do you drive a car? you chance of dying or getting injured is WAY higher than contacting a serious sickness from a restroom!

Jimmy,,, You did write the above posts right?????

As far as your proof,,,,I don't see facts,,, just stuff from random searches (your words) on the internet which = Nonsense,,,,,,,,,,,

How could I prove you wrong?
The germs on everday items would be reduced if more people would wash their hands more. PROVE ME WRONG
If people don't wash their hands in the restroom then where and when do they?
Try this experiement and see what happens:
The Germy Potato Experiment
Science Experiment to Teach Kids about Germs
Feb 29, 2008 Jennifer Wagaman
Teach children about germs and the importance of washing their hands with this hands-on potato experiment.
The Germy Potato Experiment is designed to teach students about the importance of washing their hands through observation. To do this experiment, you will need three potatoes, hand soap and three plastic bags large enough to put one potato in each.
The Germy Potato Experiment
The first potato will be the control. After washing your hands hands and the potato, peel the potato and put it in a plastic zip lock bag without letting it touch anything else. The idea here is to keep all germs from touching the potato. Label this bag number one.
The second potato will be the germy potato. It is best to introduce this potato after recess. When the students come in, have the second potato washed and peeled, then have each child handle it before putting it in the second zip lock bag. Label this bag number two.
Then have the children wash their hands with soap and water for 30 seconds (sing the ABC’s to make sure they wash long enough). Once they have thoroughly cleansed their hands, wash and peel the third potato and have them handle it before putting it in the third plastic zip lock bag. Label this bag number 3.
Now have the students hypothesize: what will happen to the first potato? The second potato? The third potato? The students should draw and/or write daily observations about changes in the potatoes over the course of one week.

This is handwashing and nothing to do with the bathroom. get it? your post was about the bathroom, no? in order to rpove you point, you need to show that urine or feces caused the potatoes to become "germy".

You're right. Human beings have survived terrible living situations for quite a long time in history. They also had life expectancies that barely touched 30 years old.

and the immune system has evolved to handle it. I guess I dont equate a mostly clean workforce not consistenly washing their hands in the bathroom as "terrible living situations". Apparently I am in the minority. Im done, enjoy your paranoia. Im going to go crap, pick my nose, do the dirty dishes, clean my kids room and then have sex with my my wife and then get on my knees and pray, we dont get fooled again.
