Taxpayers pay $101,000 for Pelosi's in-flight 'food, booze'

Geez, it would take me an entire 3 day weekend to run up a tab like that. The printed receipt looks similar to the one from my buddy's bachelor party, except for the merlot. And our receipt had gummy bears and Doritos on it.
Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio
Those planes are expensive and also paid for by taxpayers $$, just throw them out over the mountain without a parachute (save more tax $).
Like many Democrats say, you've gotta spend money in order to turn this country around. I'd be willing to sacrifice one multi-million dollar jet in order to put her out of our misery.
She reminds me of the Crypt-Keeper in the old "Tales from the Crypt" series on HBO.
she does look like corpse with it's eyes stuck open.....when she's blinking continuously...that means she's awake..when she's just sitting there with her eyes wide open but not blinking...she's napping....all of these old people now have these little tiny frail bodies like you'd expect to see from a 70 something.... but then they have these heads with oddly colored too much hair and contorted faces with no wrinkles...it's weird...and the weirdest thing is that they think they look good and not at all like they stole the head off of someone else and put it on their crooked little body....
9/11 forced this.
I'm surprised there is not a small jet that has 3500 mi range. Doesn't the Starship have that.
A little review by FAA should be able to come with a list of candidates

What is and isn't in the inventory? There was a big spiel on this a couple years ago, remember?
As much as I'm not a fan of Pelosi there are certain reasonable needs.

This is true, after 9/11 Bush asked that the Speaker of the House be afforded more security. Because Pelosi lives on the west coast, the plane that Hastert used to take doesn't have the range.
Something about this entire story strikes me as odd. A single story from WND who's known to post false or inaccurate bunk as news, runs the rumor mill but has no credible reporting...
I'd wager it's being taken out of context or otherwise heavily spun.

The Gulfstream V (also called the G-V) first flew in 1995, was certified in 1997, and was one of the first "ultra-long range" (~6,000 nautical miles) business aircraft. Capable of carrying up to 16 people in standard seating configurations, and able to fly up to 6,500 nautical miles (7,480 miles, 12,038 km), the GV became the longest range business jet ever made (at the time of its introduction). Total production of the Gulfstream V was 191 aircraft.[3]
[edit]C-37A
Designated C-37A in U.S. Air Force service, the Gulfstream V fulfills missions for government and Defense Department officials. The US Navy also operates one C-37A.
United States Air Force: operates the C-37A as command/executive transport
United States Army: operates the C-37A as command/executive transport
United States Coast Guard: has operated one C-37A as CG-01, the commandant's executive transport, since May 2002.[12]
United States Navy: operates one C-37A as command / executive transport.[13]
United States Marine Corps: operates the C-37A as command / executive transport
Federal Aviation Administration: operates one Gulfstream G-V with tail number N1.
Federal Bureau of Investigation
Federal Emergency Management Agency: operates one Gulfstream G-V for team transport in disaster response.
National Center for Atmospheric Research: operates one Gulfstream G-V for scientific research.
I'm no fan of Pelosi, but I am sick of out of context crap being used to smear. It's eating this country alive.

And not exactly a new trend. Been going on for decades. Now, has it increased in the past 15 years? Or is it that "we" are older and more aware / beaten down?

blame the decline of the american education system and the lack of intiative for the average american. As a result, there are more and more liberals and they have access to outlets like the media and the internet. the dumbing down of america.
