I know a guy out of the Attleboro area, but is it against the sites guidelines to recommend someone

No your not S%$%$ Out of Luck here, you can pass a recommendation as far as I know...

Don, if you go licensed, the guy who did my first floor came highly recommended, not sure if he works Barrington...
