Winter camping...
I know it's not fishing but thought you all would get a kick outta the pics. This past weekend northern Vermont. Single digits with a 3 season tent, winter not being one of them. That's my son, I know, crazy outfit.

Sorry, I'm having a hard time figuring this out. I think my files are too big. It keeps saying upload error.

Great pics. Not much of a winter camper myself but did it once in college: Iowa temps hit 20 below zero (F) that night. Gear was like yours not winter certified. Helped to put 2 people (opposite sexes) per bag.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

great pics, i've done a little winter camping...one time it got so cold after a huge snow storm that we had to take some rocks from the river and cook them over the fire till they were red hot. Then we brought them into the tent and poured water over them. The steam kept us warm thru the night...it was pretty cool.

Did you remember to bring in an empty bottle....nothing worse than taking a walk to take a leak in the middle of the night.
The only part that sucks is getting changed into dry clothes before bed....THAT is cold....once you're in your sleeping bag its actually quite cozy

Next time I will bring a bottle to piss in. I held it for a few hours then around 4 in the morning scrambled outside, threw my coat on the ground and stood on it and went. The wind was blowing and snow was whipping my face. scrambled back inside and my sleeping bag zipper stuck halfway up.

When I was in Boy Scouts, we did OPIK camping way up in Maine. Cross country skied 10 miles out in to the wilderness with all our crap, built igloos and slept in them for 2 days. Was cool. Only got down to about 0 at night, but was incredibly warm inside the igloos.
