brain cell just kicked in...sea level rising....jerkindark...
recently had my land re-surveyed.. for legal reasons.. I found the original subdivision plans from the mid sixties...with the boundries and above sea level indications... the new survey, agreed with the boundry locations, replaced the two missing cement bounds.. and they gps'd all 5 of them, in case the issue I had with the perpatrator re-surfaced, and then presented me with the new plot plan... and ... guess what.. I am now almost 10 feet less above sea level than..
almost 60 years ago... I am sure that there might be some surveyor error..but not 10 feet.. and having been on the outer beaches in the sixties and today... I am inclined to believe that ocean is gaining...or... maybe we is sinking???
