yeah maybe instead of a separate forum we just encourage newcomers to post in the main forum introducing themselves or would that get annoyiing?

Interesting, people do get welcomed when they sign in, some more so than others, but we should do something to direct them to the main board. How do we encourage them to post on the main board (sometimes we do)? Do we have them go right to the main board for the welcome?

Thought about it a little and I'll do it. I will advise bigfish and afterhours to stay out of the forum though. If the keys give me the ability to edit their posts into invites to newcomers for bromantic gettaways to cuttyhunk I might abuse that priveledge.
I was also thinking of doing a contest to try and promote the activity in here. Is there any reporting cabability for you to see who has the most posts in this forum over a certain time period. I was thinking of rewarding the winner with some pluggage or something like that. |
