I'm trying, but I'd need a magnifying lens to make the pictures look worth taking.

And a bag over your head.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Thanks george. I took a nice mid 30 on the lipless swimmer you made. The fish was released so you can catch him. Nice job on that plug, rolls a little more than the original musso, but the fish don't seem to mind a bait being tossed around struggling.

Actually, eels are even being snubbed with all the pogies being chummed about in the sounds and around the Elizabeths. Highly suggest going at night, which is when I saw someone who looked suspiciously like Sauerkraut launching at the Woods Hole ramp. The gentleman in question wouldn't let me look in his cooler to see whether he had pogies or eels in there, but perhaps it was a plug bag filled with wooden goodies that he had aboard!

Was he wearing a hospital issued mask and rubber gloves?

Actually, he was wearing what looked like hospital issue scrubs, but no gloves. Then again, he did look like he was trying to get in a little fishing before his next surgical procedure.

Did I Put A Curse On . . .

by having a dedicated flyrodder (my preference) and eel-slinger (out of necessity) post on a plug thread?
Hope I didn't offend anyone, but I sure hope somebody is catching some nice fish on wood after all the great work I have seen members exhibit over the years.
Please give me some hope that wood is still good . . . and can catch even with all the pogy chum in the water!

Way to go, George. Always great to see a dedicated shore angler come through, especially on his own wood!

well done G. I am happy for you, you deserve it. I hope Alan was the photographer and you beat him out that nite with his eels. Congrats.
