I think its burpee that sells what are called Royalty Purple Raspberries. They grow great in RI if you compost them regularly and the berries are restaurant grade. You do have to cover tehm with cheese cloth or something to keep the bids off. The birds love them when they are red but they don't get sweet like people like untila bout 2 weeks later when they turn purple. They are delicious though and dirt cheap by mail order and hardy as hell.
