stripermaineiac Registered User Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Buxton, Maine Posts: 1,727	Might not be just the bit. With all the humidity in the air the wood sucks it up like a sponge. More moisture content more and bigger tear-outs plus with some woods you'll get stringy-ness. Something I learned from my shop teacher back in high school a couple 2 or 3 yrs ago. LOL
