With the warm weather bats are now out of hibernation, saw my first ones of the season tonight.

My college roommate and I used to let 2 bats fly loose around the dorm room, they will not hurt or attack you! That is one for the Mythbusters: BUSTED!

As mentioned above the worst thing about bats in the belfry (or house) is the ammonia smell from the lbs/lbs of guano a colony can produce.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

I have a bat house on the front of my house. Send them to me---they're more than welcome.

I'd also like a flock of guinea hens to chow on the bumper crop of ticks we have.

About the only time that a bat might attack you is if it's rabid--if you do get bitten or scratched by a bat, the safe play would be to get the shots.
