you sir have great taste. How can you not like this stuff. I went to see this crew here at Ziterion theater a few years ago, even dragged Canalman and his wife to be. Tony couldn't be there as there was a death in family so just Peter Rowan and the 2 lovely ladies played and they were very good even without Tony, but I was disappointed.

yeah didn't find out till I walked in the door. He was the reason I went, but still came away impressed with the 3 left over. My uncle got me into him many years ago. He has seen him many times, me once. Got tons of stuff by him and the many, many players he has teamed up with. A true giant.

I saw Tony with Peter Rowan and the 2 young ladies at the Ryman in Nashville a few years ago. While the show was great and his picking was outstanding, I was saddened by the fact that Tony could no longer sing. I found out later that his vocal loss was due to Muscle Tension Dysphonia

i've seen him many times
best though was at a bluegrass festival . after his afternoon performance , he gave a seminar on 'pickin'
someone there asked him about playing jazz , well he started improvising and playing old jazz tunes ....
after the evening concerts , the campfire picking started .
it was a pleasure to see him out with the 'masses' just jammin'
one of the best times we had at a festival ....
