It's just that we had a mini-heatwave with humidity, and the air is a little cooler and drier, which makes if feel cooler than it really is.

I was out kayaking on Tuesday night in Westwood when the "cool" air started pushing in. The wind picked up and you could feel the air was definitely drier.
The fishing wasn't bad either.
