CD:

I really like it a lot. I like the thick aluminum hull most. It's a little lighter than glass and everything's accessible under the deck and gunwales. I put a t-top and a custom leaning post on it, have plenty of storage, and it's dry as a bone with that deep-V and flared bow. And the Suzuki 4-stroke is great, so far. 179 has one too (a Suzuki).

Couldn't be happier. After tearing up a Trophy last summer I wanted to try a non-glass rig.

The only thing I don't like about it is the Furuno LS6100 I put in it. I was gonna get the Garmin 320C, but no one had them in stock when I was installing stuff. So I fell back to the much cheaper B&W LS6100--I don't like it. I did get the Garmin GPS MAP 182C, which is a fantastic toy.

I got it at the PVD show. I went that day to buy the Scout 202 for around $30K. Instead, went to the BOATS booth and got this for $19K.

That's a sharp looking Aluminum boat you got there, and if the price was $19k it was a very good deal. You should post a pic of it in here. How's the Suzuki treating you?

Mart:

Whether required or not you'd be crazy not to have one with you. If the boat is small and mostly open, get a handheld.
Handheld GPS would be a good idea too. Always have a cell phone with ya too !!!! Helped me one day when electric trouble popped the radio fuse....Good Luck
