I can agree with this. Poor example on my part.

However, that person blasting down the brake down lane to avoid the traffic is certainly my business. It's my business when they hit debris on the side of the road, pop a tire and lose control of their vehicle. It's also my business the next time I'm broken down, while a precedence has been set for people to go down the break down lane to avoid traffic and I have to fear being rear-ended.

Due to the increase of frivilous lawsuits, arrogant self-rioghteousness and complete lack of respect of ALL laws we are faced with dilemmas on a daily basis. We see so many people that ignore and usurp the laws that are meant to govern society that those of us that adhere to these same laws get angry and outraged at the lack of any real consequences for these "lawbreakers".

Here's something to ponder: If you see ANY kind of infraction, or crime, and it makes you mad, it usually because you are doing things the right way and you're mad because the offender appears to be "getting away with it".

As long as we can keep our wits and our values intact, we will always be the better person.
Extremely well put, I couldn't agree more.

What people do in there own home, is no business to anyone outside of that home. I'll be the first one to complain about the government intruding on our personal lives. As soon as you leave your home and enter the general population, every person's activity affects someone else - be it in a good way, or bad.

On the handicapped parking spot issue, I've had my fair share of annoyance going into Home Depot, Target or any of the big stores and seeing the 10 HP Only spots that are always empty. On the other hand, I'd never think to park there or drop someone off and idle there (as people always do).

I wonder how angry some of you "it's none of your business" people would be if your parent, grandparent or child were on crutches and had a handicapped placard and slipped and fell on an icy parking lot because some POS felt entitled to park in the HP stop to avoid walking through the slush.

When I worked as an EMT, it would happen a couple times a year.
