August 7 BBQ in Newbury,at the bridge to Plum Island, in the parking lot. I believe we are meeting around 3pm for BBQ. Then split up to fish the many areas the North Shore offers.
I will show what I know of local access here in Marblehead to those that want to fish here, after we hit Plum Island. I hope we can fish the new sandbar, as we did last year. Marblehead is about a 40 minute ride south from Plum Island.( By the time we got to Mhead, the surf had blown up and we got blown off the best spots....)
So, time to put up. Who is coming? What area are you interested in fishing? (Look at a map, find those areas you have heard of yet haven't fished...) What locals would be willing to guide some folks round their haunts, be it Plum Island, Manchester, Gloucester or wherever? Some folks went north to Maine as I recall. |

is that on a saturday? i've said i wanted to go for the past 2 years, but never do. i work on saturdays, but trying to arrange for a few long weekends for august. trying to get that day off.

BBQ isn't until 3pm. You could even get in a half day and make it if you had to..... |

shouldn't we start a sticky for who's bringing what?
and if Tony and BB don't show, i'll share some RKPT/MGNLA spots with those interested.
be sure yer Korkers are loaded with fresh spikes, it can get steep and weedy at some spots~~
