My brown thing that surrounds my house crunches when I walk on it.....and it needs no cutting!! Heading up to Nashua with Slipknot in the am for the Vintage Saltwater Lure Show!! Maybe work on some plugs Sunday after I soak in all that inspiration!!!! Basically relax! Might trim out our bedroom I just painted too!!

Next to last weekend of my daughters softball season. Coaching travel teams means NO fishing for weeks on end.

Off to Newport for the weekend. Possibly chasing Thunnus... If not, then might peek around the rocks there and see if I can track down some hardtails.

Picking the boy up at camp and bringing home for the weekend tonight.
tomorrow firing up some ribs on the smoker and then heading to a friends house for a cookout/fireworks for the night.
Sunday is still up in the air.....

dinner with the wife tonight...
Tommorrow ... fishing boat becomes a pleasure boat for the day, as my wife takes her once a year ride before dinner and fire works for the close of Yankee home coming.. ( that leaves a wek to stink it back up before next saturday)
sunday a little work around the garden, maybe clean my shop, the bathroom renovation wreaked havoc with it's appearance...

Hoping to catch the late tide tomorrow on the bank, bait has been tough to get so it might be a day of casting at surfacing fish and trolling big swimmers/big rubber. I'll have my oldest son with me, so worst case will be jigging up some slobs or big blues on the high ground. Hopefully the boy is a good luck charm, last time out we hooked up twice and landed one ...
oh yeah x2 ( that green thing surrounding the abode needs slaying too)

Playing handyman today. First days in a while when you could work outside during the day without frying. As always lately , a handyman day starts with a trip to Lowes. What happened to the babes in jeans they used to hire at Lowes and Home depot? Now its just old guys like me.
Anyway , fix mail box , fix storm door latch , get mower to start , cut the lawn , etc. Been putting things off for a month waiting for a cool day.
