STELWAGON
WENT TO STELWAGON FOR THE FIRST TIME OUT THIS YEAR. FIRST FISH WAS HOOKED WITHIN FIRST 10 MIN, A 39 IN. COW. WE CAUGHT A COUPLE MORE 30+ BEFORE SWITCHING TO LIGHT TACKLE GEAR. LANDED A 35 IN. ON MY MEDIUM ACTION SPINNING ROD WHILE JIGGING A 3 OZ. BUCKTALE(WHAT A FIGHT!) ALL & ALL WE CAUGHT 11 FISH, ALL OVER 30 IN. I CAN EASILY SAY I'M NOW ADDICTED!!

Sounds good....but I hope you know that if you are more than 3 miles off (Federal Waters), it is illegal to possess striped bass, so I hope they went back. Sounds like you had fun.

Steve is right , it is illeagal to posess and target stripers past the 3 mile limit. If you are stopped you better tell the EPO that you are targeting bluefish or cod. Stripers are suppossed to be protected in Federal waters.

Good to hear...not that I'm against keeping fish, and wasn't ragging on you. Just wanted to make sure you knew. For the longest time Mr. Kav insisted I was wrong on that point, but I was able to finally convince him.
