I've been making plugs pretty heavily for the last two weeks and haven't really fished much.
I've probably fished half the nights I typically do as there's simply too many more important things for me to tend to. Many nights I get up and go back to sleep
whereas in the past I'd get up at midnight and get out there for a few hours.
As for fall fishing, you can take it or leave it as there's many trips lost due to weather and the like. I've had some epic falls in my life and also some real duds (like last year) so I don't get too fired up either way. Will try to make one more trip to cutty, then concentrate on the canal after mid september.
