It says it will toss up to 8 oz from what i have seen on line and what people have told me it is a good rod for the money.

about 2 years old used one year on boat sold boat last summer and kept motor the model # is RT/SC/S it is a transom mount.
Riptide Transom 50/SC 50 12 42" One-Hand Stow Tilt/Extend Tiller 5/Multiple $349.99 275 with battery and charge is a great price.
charger is a schumacher charger for 6 and 12 volt batterys 6-2 amp
