Very interested...
if this would be a good starter plugging rod for my 10 year old son.
Looking for a rod he can toss plugs up to 3oz. with from the beach and rocks now that he is getting hooked on surfcasting.

I had mine out this AM at the B-way. It would be great for that in my opinion. I was throwing 1 oz and up to 2 3/4 with a Daiwa SS2600 mounted on it. Nice light blank. Good price. If I didn't already have one... it would be long gone. |

JOn, I think it would be fine for him
my first custom rod was a Sabre 1088, great all around rod.
This 1088 would last him a long time for sure. |
